A Service of Remembering
On Sunday November 23 at 2:30pm, St Mark’s is conducting a Service of butterflyRemembering loved ones no longer with us.  All are welcome to attend this gentle time of worship with readings of encouragement, hope-filled prayers and quiet music.

Handmade butterfly cards, to be placed around the prayer candle, will be available to those who wish to record a name of remembrance.

Our Vicar Michael has run this type of service for 10 years and believes it provides a helpful time for grieving before the busy-ness of Christmas and the passing of the year. It also complements the significant ministry St Mark’s has had with many families after the death of a loved one.  For some, this has been ongoing for several years, while for others their loss is more recent.
